Sweet Baby

Hi, there!  One last post today…  

I don't know what is it about babies that just looking at them melts me away!  I think it's their innocence and the pure look in their eyes.  They meet us completely trusting and baring their little selves to this world...  So fragile and yet so powerful in the love they transpire.  They are definitely sweet, which brings me to this post.

So... I'm posting for My Craft Spot's Challenge #64.  The challenge is to make a project with a baby theme.  I recently made this set for my neighbor's granddaughter who just had a baby girl and I thought it would be perfect for this challenge.  Here's my CAS card:

Here's the card and gift bag, which by the way coordinate beautifully (the bag is store-purchased). 

To tie it all together I created another cupcake and adhered it to the tag on the bag.  

And here's a peek at the cute little pajamas that inspired the card:

Babies...Definitely sweet!

"Happy mid-week!  Today I'm posting a card I made for my cousin's baby shower.  Cute Card Thursday is having an "Anything Goes" challenge this week (you can do whatever your heart desires) so I thought this would be a good card for it!

Since I don't not have any 'baby theme' stamps, I focused on colors and paper prints, and printed the sentiment from my computer to make my own label.  I 'pulled' the buttons from one of the dresses on the print and decided to stitch around the frame to give it a little texture, plus it goes well with the buttons!  This is my card:

I got so into it that I even made a matching gift bag for the card:
