Congrats Strip Banner

One more for tonight and off to bed I go!  LOL.  This is a cute little card (4" x 4") I made for Moxie Fab's Tuesday Trigger.  Here's the trigger:

And here's my card:

I was inspired by the flag banner, the colors on the banner, and the doily (which is resembled on the bottom border of the card).  For the banner I just cut out the strips of paper (My Mind's Eye Ooh La La paper pack), placed on the card as shown, and then traced the 'string' with a pink pen. 

I wanted some color to show through the openings on the border so I added printed paper inside and notched it up by punching the same border as on the outside:

 This is a close-up of what the card looks like when closed:

I love how cheerful this little card is!   It's also the perfect companion to a gift!
