Hi, again! I'm on a roll this week! LOL. Today I'm posting for
Stamp TV's Monday Challenge, which calls for making a card using a 1, 2, or 3 letter monogram. Since I needed a birthday card for a friend, I thought of making it using her first name initial: L. Here's the card I came up with:
I did not have any large scale letters to use for the monogram so I decided to make my own by cutting the design paper to shape the "L". I cut out two stripes and shaped as shown. I love the colors of the paper (
Ooh La La paper stack from My Mind's Eye).
Gina K. Designs' Jelly Bean Green card stock coordinated perfectly with this paper. The flower stamp is also from
GKD (sorry, I got it from a grab bag prize and I don't know the name of the stamp set it came from).
The card's front is shorter than the back so I placed some of the DP inside of the card (just at the bottom) to add some interest. I also punched the edge of the card to make it stand out.
Well, that's it for today, my stamping friends! Thanks for stopping by!
Have a bright day!
