And speaking of treats, wouldn't it be nice to get a cold, refreshing drink in the middle of a hot day? I had one of those days not long ago so I treated myself and my daughter to a smoothie. Then it occurred to me it would be nice to surprise someone else with a refreshment so I made a little note card to go with the drink:
It's a simple little note but can put a big smile on someone's face! And they can cool off too! I used stamps from Gina K Designs 'Enjoy the Summer' kit. The little wind thingie (Help me! I forgot what its called! LOL) is paper pieced with DP from the same kit. Sorry I just went blank! Spanish is my first language and while my English is pretty good I get 'pockets' in the language every now and then! Although I get them in Spanish too... I think the 'pockets' are in my brain! LOL. So… Is it a handheld windmill? When I say windmill I think of the big ones… I googled 'handheld windmills' and the picture came up but I thought it had a specific name… A single word… Maybe not! Oh, goodness, this is going to be in my head until I find out!
Anyways, I just wanted to share this little project and spread some summer cheer! So enjoy your day and stay cool!

You are too sweet! I totally love your drink tag! How fun would it be to put a gift card to Dairy Queen or someplace inside the empty glass, and hang the darling pinwheel tag on the outside!
